  • Ridden on the Windsor triathlon bike course, the "Sustain Blocks" workout consists of 4 main blocks. Each block is comprised of a threshold, tempo mix with some power intervals thrown in. This is a great session to help build that all important sustainable (Threshold) power. It will also help mimic the slightly undulating nature of the Windsor bike course. The key is to ensure you re-vist the required power levels after the brief power intervals. It all too easy on race day to push into the red when overtaking other competitors. This workout will help improve recovery back to the required power levels after such efforts
