Workout description

Bid For Glory is a unique workout in that it closely replicates the demands of trying to make a solo break away in an event like a criterium or road race. Constructed as 3 main blocks, your task here is to put a big 1 minute effort in to get clear of the pack and then sustain a hard pace for 5 minutes to make it stick. This is a great alternative to a more traditional V02 Max workout.

Focus on hitting your power target during the 5 minute sustained pace. You'll be well into your V02 max zone during this effort, so its by no means an easy workout. Winning doesn't come easy!
