Workout description

Our Solid Foundations workout collection is designed to help build a riders base fitness (often refereed to as the endurance level). There is a great article about base level endurance which describes why a solid base level of fitness is a key component to a riders make up.

This simple endurance workout keeps the rider around the 70/75% FTP level (please see our help portal for information on FTP if you are unsure what this is). Its a fairly low intensity workout but it ticks all the boxes to increasing your foundations, ensuring your ready to take on some harder intervals as and when required.

Focus on maintaining the power level and holding a good position on the bike. These are the workouts to really think about your pedaling technique, core stability etc..

To progress from this workout, be sure to checkout our other "Solid Foundations" workouts. Our "Enduro Sustain" workouts (tempo/sweetspot) are also a great progression to these.
